campus involvement

In addition to academics and my job, I am also involved in different organizations on campus. I believe giving back to the campus community is a necessary part of student life, and my contribution primarily revolves around Undergraduate Business Council and Global Business Brigades. These different organizations at The University of Texas at Austin are integral to my growth in college. Through leadership roles, projects, and events within these communities, I gained networks and experiences that taught me wisdom beyond the traditional college degree.

Undergraduate Business Council – Sophomore Class Elected Representative
Fall 2013 – Present

·   Represent the sophomore class of 1,300+ students and communicate their interests to the Office of Student Life and Dean at the McCombs School of Business

Global Business Brigades – Vice President
Fall 2012 – Present

·   Fundraising Committee – Organized a group of 3 people to figure out the most profitable way to fundraise money for the club

·   Media Committee – Documented 10 day trip to Ghana with DSLR for marketing purposes
