design

As a Student Technology Assistant working in the Liberal Arts ITS department, my daily job is to provide web development and design services. Graphic design is taking traditional art into another dimension. With the help of computers, creating great designs and color palettes is easier than ever before. Specifically, in the STA lab, I work with Adobe Suite and content management systems to create aesthetic graphics, animations, and website designs for the faculty in the College of Liberal Arts at The University of Texas at Austin.

My work as an STA helps me channel my creativity and interest in technology into practical products, some of which are shown below. More examples of my graphic design portfolio can be found on my official work page.

These are some examples website designs I have implemented for various professors in the Liberal Arts department. I heavily favor simplistic designs and complimentary colors.

These are some variations of a graphic I drafted to become the new Anthropology department logo. This design focused on the human mind and warped the shape of two human heads into a light bulb. I enjoyed this project because it was my first experience with Adobe Illustrator.
